Most successful entrepreneurs have a powerful story. Personal development plays an an extensive role in the life of most successful entrepreneurs. It influences their lives on a daily basis.

Successful entrepreneurs know it’s important you keep in mind you are responsible for the way in which you decide to react to the events which happen in your life. Those traveling down the successful entrepreneur road understand their actions and thoughts play an enormous role in how life turns out.

Successful entrepreneurs learn how to earn money on YouTube, by understanding the power of your story and how to share it.

The first step is to define exactly what it is you want your end result to be from the story you are about to share before you begin create your video to earn money on YouTube.

As you share your story, walk your viewer through your experience using as many of the senses as you can. Sight, sound, feeling, taste, touch.

Another key successful entrepreneurs use to earn money on YouTube is keeping their eyes focused on the camera lens. This will help your viewers feel as if you are speaking directly to them.

Your own thoughts are important. At times we consider our own thoughts to be inconsequential and immaterial; however, this is untrue. The way in which you think will strongly influence your actions, and this can ultimately determine what you get from life.

Habits are very important to success entrepreneurs.

The next tips on how to earn money from YouTube is to keep some form of journey or use your smart phone to help you remember all the stories which happen to you during your day. Then at the end of each day think of how you can share this story via a video to help someone learn from it.

Much like the way you work to change your thoughts, you should also constantly work toward exploring new habits. Think of it like this – if you always do the same things day in and day out, things will never change.

Your place of power is the present moment. Each conscious decision you make or action you take happens in the present moment. The more aware you are of the present, the more control you will have over your ability and how to earn money on YouTube because you’ll have daily stories to share.

The last tip successful entrepreneurs know is to just put on the camera when the moment arises because your present moment awareness gives you the power and energy to make the viewer feel like your are reaching out from inside the monitor and speaking to the face to face.

Learn from past experiences. Even though you cannot change the past, what you can do is look back at it and learn from the successes and challenges which allows you to act and share your power via a story so others can learn from you.

I encourage you to take action on the tips from success entrepreneurs as you too learn how to earn money on YouTube.

Cheers!

In the next few moments as you are reading this blog post, you are going to discover how a hiking trip helped me understand the importance of teamwork skills.

“The reason I see so far is because I stand on the tall shoulders of those who came before me.” ~ Sir Isaac Newton

Easter weekend I went to visit my best friend in Ohio. She and her family are avid sports people. They consistently take active travel vacations. They run, hike, bike, their kids participated in sports, she and her husband both coached various sports teams.  You get the picture of how active they are….right….

Well, me I’m a give me a spa to go to, lounge chair to sit it, book to read and I’m in heaven. Or a beach to stroll along.

Because I’m on their turf…. I choice to open up my mind, remember my personal development plan and join in on their active lifestyle for the weekend. Now they know the importance of teamwork and how to implement their teamwork skills.

Because I’m a guest in their home, the first day we do my kinda of vacation stuff. ……

……manicure, pedicure and out to lunch

Saturday, hiking is on the agenda. I come with the right gear to wear, so I thought…..

……turned out my shoes where not exactly going to work.

Yes, they where tennis shoes, not sandals. However because the weather has been wet and rainy, the trails where muddy.

Imagine this, I am wearing Blake’s, my friends daughter, shoes. ….she is a size 8 and I’m a size 6 - 7 max!

The weather is a cool crisp 55 degrees. My feet are covered is big thick socks to help take up some of the extra space in the shoe. I’m dressed in my yoga pants, workout top and fleece jacket….

…..off we head to the trails.

Picture yourself sitting in the car, riding off to experience something you’ve not experienced before.

What kind of thoughts are running through your head?

I’m wondering if I’m going to be able to keep up, these are active, athletic people…..however they are my friends and I know they love me…..

….So I’m not feeling they will make fun of me. Yet, I am feeling a little nervous, uncomfortable and not sure what to expect.

Take a moment here to feel a time in your life when you’ve felt nervous and uncomfortable about doing something different.  What are some of the thoughts floating around in your head?

Upon arrival to the hiking trail, both Brenda, my friend, and Blake, her daughter, put their teamwork skills to work right away. Both of them take the time to comfort me, let me know one of them will be in front of me so I can follow an experience person and one of them will be behind me so I don’t get left behind or lost.

They also share some in and outs of a few things to be on the lookout for, like the slick mud and to watch our for the tree roots so I don’t trip over them.

Take a moment….step into the picture here. Would you be feeling like part of the team?

Put yourself in this spot or in a time in your life where you headed out onto a new journey with others you knew, liked and trusted. They where experienced in what you where about to face.

How did you feel when they took the time, effort and energy to make sure you knew they had you covered just in case you experienced any problems along the new journey?

My confidence rose immediately with my new found support and understanding of the importance of teamwork. Their teamwork skills immediately put my brain into…..

“I can do this mode”

……. off we headed into the trail.

What a wonder day. I learned new things about my friends, experienced a little of their world of outdoor activities and found a new activity I’m going to expand on.

I invite you to come back to the blog to seek out future post vacation hiking locations. Look for them under the travel tips category.

Watch this video below to experience some path and view the lesson I learned.

Yes, I experienced a few times of tripping over tree roots. Blake’s shoes are 2 sizes too big. This added length to my foot I’m not accustom to. I also had the earth move from under my feet a couple of time too. However not once did I feel fear or the inability to finish the trail.

My teammates in front of me and behind me guided me through the tough spots.

The first thing you should know about travel safety is thieves are not as dumb as you might think they are. If this sounds trite, then you’ve never heard some of the stories about what thieves do.

Because some thieves out their are maters at their game, I wanted to share a few stories with you so you can think about some of these travel safety tips before your next vacation or business trip.

Today, I stumbled upon an article by Nicole Carpenter, a KSL.com contributor, titled “How Pursuing your own dreams can help your children.”

Because LawGirl is actively discussing having her first child in the next few years, the topic of being a “good MOM” and a Professional Lawyer is on the fore front of her mind. We have discussed how to be an entrepreneur and a Mom at the same time.

Your How to Be An Entrepreneur Journey leads to powerful conversations

I am on the path of moving from employee to entrepreneur, so I’ve been learning how to be an entrepreneur for a few months now. LawGirl and I enjoy some pretty amazing lunch conversations these day.

In her article Nicole says, “I believe there is a silent epidemic of dissolved dreams afflicting women who have put many dreams on hold to be a wife and mother……….

Personally, I find this extremely sad because LawGirl and I love discussing how to be an entrepreneur and a Mom at the same time. Personally I hated leaving my babies in daycare. So we bounce ideas back and forth off of each other, seeking answers to how she can pursue her desire to contribute to the world with her law skills she has, contribute to her family income, and be an empowered Mom when her babies come along.

Below are some of the questions we are seeking answers to:

  • How to be an Entrepreneur….what does it take?

  • How can I be a empowered Mom and contribute to my house income?
  • How to start a business while still an employee?
  • How to become an entrepreneur with no money down?
  • How to become an entrepreneur online?
  • What are the characteristics of an entrepreneur?
  • What lessons can I teach my future children about working and being an amazing parent?

My personal move from employee to entrepreneur keeps me connected to amazing, powerful female entrepreneurs. In this Google Hangout, Elaine McNabb gives some fantastic how to be an entrepreneur and a Mom at the same time.

I’m often ask “What Do Flight Attendants Do?” Well, here is one amazing story sharing how life as a flight attendant is helping the children of Ethiopia.

Through her foundation, Trish Hack-Rubinstein — Founder and President is helping the kids of Ethiopia because her foundation, Friends of Fresh and Green Academy,  is reshaping the lives of the children who live in Ababa, Ethiopia.

On a life-changing trip to Fresh and Green Academy in 2008, the school for the children of Ethiopia was in transition and dangerously low on funding. Trish saw the kids of Ethiopia needed her help and expertise.

Upon her return to the United States, Trish helped found Friends of Fresh and Green, Inc. with the vision of helping the children of Ababa, Ethiopia.

Lyuba Halkyn, the flight attendant in the Hangout, joined the board of Friends of Fresh and Green Academy after her first visit to the school dedicated to helping kids of Ethiopia.

Lyuba has more than fifteen years experience as a Flight Attendant. Lyuba enjoys getting to know the children of Ethiopia, their families, and the staff at Fresh and Green Academy.

Lyuba, believes building these relationships with the kids at the school makes her commitment to seeing the children of Ethiopia into adulthood even stronger.

There’s no way someone can’t be affected by the conditions of Ababa, Ethiopia.  Going to a place so undeveloped, where living conditions are hard and basic services are scarce is profoundly moving.

Connecting with people is the most satisfying aspect of my job as a flight attendant. Finding out what other flight attendants do outside of their role as flight attendants is incredibly energizing.  The stores are amazing, so stay toned for more stories to come by subscribing to my YouTube Channel.

If you’d like to help the kids of Ethiopia, then do go visit Friends of Fresh and Green Academy’s website found here: http://Frendsoffreshandgreen.com

Their next big fundraiser is May 2, 2013 in New York City. The 1st Annual Dancing with the Stews Dance Competition. Just like in dancing with the stars, the Flight Attendants are pared with a professional dancers and learn a routine which they will perform on May 2, 2013, Goldman-Sonnenfeldt Family Auditorium, JCC in Manhattan 334 Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY 10023

Friends of Fresh and Green Academy is a blessing to the children of Ethiopia.
